MTSU Top Model will be holding open casting calls for MTSU’s only televised model search competition on MT10HD. Auditions are scheduled for five consecutive Saturdays in 2012 (March 17^th, March 24^th, March 31^st, April 7th and April 14th) with the final selection day on April 21, 2012. If you are unable to make the open calls, you may enter your application online at www.gpamtsu.com in which the final date for applying will be April 14, 2012. There will be absolutely no exceptions.

MTSU Top Model is a hit show on MT10HD and is a “guilty pleasure” according to Sidelines. The MTSU Top Model competition normally casts 12-15 aspiring models (male or female) for the show. The models will spend each Saturday between late April and mid-August receiving a makeover and being judged on various qualities such as look, walk, beauty, charisma and photographic ability.

Every week the models complete a challenge and a photo shoot, and the next week, the photos will then judged by a panel of industry experts. Another set of secret judges will decide from each challenge on a winner and a loser for each episode. The winner from the challenge will gain immunity from being sent home at judging. The loser will be eliminated from the competition and the remaining models will move on to the photo shoot judging.

The industry judges will decide from each photo shoot on a winner and a loser for each episode. The winning model will receive 10 extra frames for the next episode’s photo shoot. The losing model will be eliminated from the show and the remaining models will move on to the next photo shoot.

At the end of the competition, only three models will remain and they will compete against each other in a haute couture runway show in front of their peers, friends and families, and the public.

The winner of MTSU Top Model will receive a one-year modeling contract from 180 Talent and classes from Advantage Model Development as well as the coveted title of “MTSU Top Model”!

*MTSU Top Model does NOT pay or reimburse models/ participants for travel costs or any other expenses incurred during filming.*

OPEN CALL AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

PHOTOS: Bring a head shot and 2 full body shots (one clothed and one swimsuit) to the audition location. Photos do NOT have to be professional but DO have to be recent.
ID: Please bring a copy of your Student ID (if you have one), a Government Issued Photo ID, and a copy of your Birth Certificate. You do NOT have to be an American citiizen.
IF UNDER 18: Parent Release Waiver must be signed by Parent/Guardian.
IF UNDER 18: Parent/Guardian must be present at all times including auditions/filming.

ONLINE VIDEO AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

VIDEO: A 3-minute Video telling about yourself and why want to become a participant on MTSU Top Model. Please include an excerpt of your best runway walk.
